World Health Organization (WHO)’s chief scientist, Dr Soumya Swaminathan, stated on Sunday that the global health body’s technical advisory group will convene on October 26 to consider emergency use listing (EUL) for Bharat Biotechs vaccine against COVID-19 - Covaxin.

Dr Swaminathan took to Twitter to state that the agency has been working closely with the Hyderabad-based vaccine manufacturer to complete the dossier. She added that they aim to have an extensive portfolio of vaccines approved for emergency use and to increase access to people everywhere across the globe.
